Wax Heads Physical Edition Bundles A Vinyl Soundtrack
The game is getting a special physical release for Nintendo Switch alongside a 2xLP vinyl pressing of its official soundtrack.
Wax Heads is set to receive a special physical edition for the Nintendo Switch, packaged for players who like to own a title on the shelf. Alongside the boxed game, a double-LP vinyl release of the official soundtrack is planned, giving fans of the music a way to keep it outside the game itself. The move mirrors a growing trend among independent releases, where limited physical runs and separate soundtrack pressings are used to reach collectors and enthusiasts who prefer tangible versions of what they play, and it gives the title a second life on store shelves.
The reveal covers both the boxed Switch version and the vinyl soundtrack, with further details expected through the game's official channels as the release approaches. Physical editions have become a dependable route for smaller games to serve players who value packaging and extras, and pairing a copy with a record speaks directly to soundtrack collectors. Bleeding Cool reported the plans, and anyone interested in the physical run or the double-LP can watch the studio's announcements for when both become available.
