Pokémon Legends: Z-A Bundles DLC on a Switch 2 Cart
Nintendo packs the base game and the Mega Dimension expansion onto one cartridge for North America and Europe on October 29.
Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have announced a new Switch 2 physical release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A that bundles the game with its Mega Dimension expansion on a single cartridge. It arrives on October 29 in both North America and Europe, and does not rely on a game-key card, so no additional download is needed. The cartridge will also work on the original Switch as well as the newer system, letting one purchase cover both generations. Nintendo has not yet confirmed a price for the package, though the digital editions suggest roughly where it will land.
Buyers who want the content digitally currently pay $69.99 for the base game and $29.99 for the expansion, with the digital bundle listed at $99.99. The physical package adds a bonus: a serial code inside the box that unlocks 100 Ultra Balls once the Mystery Gift feature is available. Box art will be identical across both regions. It follows a similar approach Nintendo took with Scarlet and Violet, bundling post-launch content into a later retail release for players who prefer a cartridge on the shelf. Nothing suggests availability outside those two regions for now.
