Vanadis Heart opens another Gundam story
The Witch from Mercury manga follows a former Vanadis Institute researcher and her child assistant, with volumes one and two out now from Yen Press.
Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Vanadis Heart opens in Ad Stella 101 with the massacre that gave the Vanadis Incident its name: the Mobile Suit Development Council halts work on the suits, seizes them and storms Folkvangr Base. Elnora Samaya puts in an early cameo.
The leads then shift to Dr. Vilda Miren, a former Vanadis Institute member now counted among the villainised witches, and her young assistant Kiyu Lavot, travelling in what amounts to a mobile laboratory while she keeps working on GUND technology. Yen Press has volumes one and two out, with no date set for later ones.
