Thunder Hoop Collection Brings Two Gaelco Games to Steam
Thunder Hoop and TH Strikes Back arrive on Steam on October 8 with save states, rewind, CRT filters and local co-op in the sequel.
QUByte Interactive is bringing two obscure Gaelco arcade run-and-gunners to Steam. The Thunder Hoop Collection gathers Thunder Hoop from 1992 and its 1994 sequel TH Strikes Back, and arrives on October 8.
In the original, a teenage hero fights the mutants unleashed by Dr Genbreak through a city, sewers and underwater stages. The sequel ages him into a muscled adult with far more shooting, a Super Saiyan-style flight sequence and a scrolling space shooter section. Both include save states, rewind and CRT filters, with local co-op in the second game and alternating turns in the first.
