Thronefall joins Game Pass as a day-one release
Mythwright's minimalist strategy game arrives on console on November 11 with a Game Pass launch.
Microsoft has confirmed Thronefall as a day one Game Pass arrival on November 11. The game, from Mythwright, is a stripped-back strategy title: you build a kingdom by day and defend it at night, with a short run structure rather than a long campaign.
It is the second title confirmed for the November line-up, alongside Gravhounds. Day one additions have become the main way Microsoft sells the service, and picking small, sharply designed strategy games is a cheap way to keep the catalogue varied between the expensive first-party launches.

Thronefall strips real-time strategy down to two phases: build a small kingdom by day, then hold the line against the night's attack, one map at a time.
