Rayman Legends Retold gets a loaded physical launch edition
Ubisoft is shipping a PS5 box with a printed map and lithographs, and the remake now arrives on December 3.
Rayman Legends Retold has been delayed to December 3, and Ubisoft has used the extra time to show off a physical launch edition that includes a printed map and lithographs in the box. The package also carries the enhanced version of Rayman Origins alongside the rebuilt Legends.
It is a pointed release in a year when Sony confirmed it plans to stop manufacturing discs, and when most publishers treat boxed copies as an afterthought. Ubisoft has not said how limited the launch edition is, or whether it will cover platforms beyond PlayStation 5.
