Pokemon TCG Delta Reign Preorders Sell Out Instantly

The final Pokemon TCG set of 2026 arrives November 6, but 12-hour queues and fast sell-outs suggest the Mega Evolution expansion is underprinted.

Pokemon TCG: Mega Evolution Delta Reign arrives on November 6, 2026 as the last announced set of the year. The expansion keeps the focus on Mega Evolution Pokemon and brings back Mega Rayquaza, a card last seen in the Ancient Origins set in 2015. Collectors can choose between an Elite Trainer Box priced at 59 dollars or 56.99 pounds, which bundles nine booster packs with promo cards, card sleeves, energy cards and game accessories; a classic booster box holding 36 packs; and Booster Bundles that include six packs of ten cards each. The set is already available in Japan under the name Storm Esmerelda.

Pre-orders opened on the Pokemon Center at the end of September and turned into a scramble. Buyers reported queues lasting 12 hours, repeated technical errors and products selling out faster than usual, with booster and display boxes disappearing alongside the Elite Trainer Box. Fans suggested the run looks underprinted. Stock is scarce across US and UK retailers, and third-party sellers on TCGplayer are expected to charge above retail, while Amazon has yet to confirm whether it will repeat the lottery system used for the 30th Celebration. The chase card, a Mega Rayquaza ex Mega Ultra Rare, has reached an all-time high of 2,166.69 dollars on TCGplayer.
