Minecraft gets its first new dimension in 14 years
Mojang used Minecraft Live to confirm The Sift, a fourth dimension that reaches Java and Bedrock in 2027 and debuts in Minecraft Dungeons II on 29 September.
Minecraft Live on 26 September ended with the game's first new dimension in more than a decade. The Sift will arrive in Java and Bedrock Edition in 2027, Mojang said during the showcase, joining the Overworld, the Nether and the End as Minecraft's fourth dimension.
The place was built for Minecraft Dungeons II first, and players can see it there when that game launches on 29 September. Creative director Mans Olson told GameSpot the team wanted the Sift to feel distinct from the Nether and the End rather than turning into another hostile environment.
