Half-Life 2 mod The Temple adds an airship and a shuttle
An upcoming Half-Life 2 total conversion sends players through an ocean, a sky and space in three vehicles, and should launch very soon.
The Temple is an upcoming total conversion for Half-Life 2 that follows the track of submarine horror adventure Iron Lung, then pushes past it. It is set on an aquatic planet dotted with concrete megastructures and hands players three vehicles: a submarine for the depths, an airship for the skies, and a space shuttle bound for the asteroidal moons above.
The project started as two maps for MapLabs, a Source engine competition collection, running around twenty minutes. The full version reworks both, adds a third, and promises over two hours of exploration-driven science fiction horror, with invisible water monsters and a crow whose speech players can follow. Creator Klems says it should arrive very soon, possibly next month.

Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2 puts Gordon Freeman in City 17 with a gravity gun and no cutscenes: every scene is staged while you are still holding the camera. Physics is not decoration — it is a tool and a weapon.
