Golden Joysticks: 007: First Light and Big Walk lead
Both games have five nominations, with Resident Evil: Requiem close behind in the public-voted awards.
The Golden Joystick Awards have announced their 2026 nominees, and two titles sit at the top with five nods each: 007: First Light, which is up for Best Storytelling, Best Soundtrack and Console Game of the Year among others, and Big Walk, nominated for Best Indie Game, Best Multiplayer and PC Game of the Year.
Resident Evil: Requiem follows closely behind. The Golden Joysticks are voted by the public, which makes the shortlist a decent read on what players actually finished this year rather than what critics rated highest, and acting categories now sit alongside the technical awards.
