Football Manager 27 turns its lens on the wider game world
Sports Interactive is reworking news and club screens and bringing cup draws back, so the football world outside your own club reads more clearly.
Football Manager 27 is shifting attention away from your own club and onto the rest of the football world. Sports Interactive says the changes grew out of what players told it and out of reviews inside the studio, so coverage now follows a season in stages, from previews of each club to stories for the run-in, plus chatter about jobs elsewhere in the league, timed to when clubs change managers.
Screens are rebuilt around the same idea. Club pages lead with the manager, top scorer and best performers, competition pages pull results, fixtures and team-of-the-week picks together, and an updated competitions hub summarises the leagues and tournaments in a save. Profiles of individual players move to a full-screen career layout, and cup draws return. The Continue button's default flow now drops managers into different parts of the game.
