Five Nights at Freddy's joins Fortnitemares
Epic has confirmed that Five Nights at Freddy's is coming to Fortnite as part of this year's Fortnitemares, the game's annual Halloween run.
Five Nights at Freddy's is joining Fortnite, Epic Games has said. The crossover lands under this year's Fortnitemares, the Halloween event that takes over the battle royale each autumn and has become the point in the calendar where the game's spookier licensed content arrives.
Eurogamer carried the confirmation on 27 September, and it settles a piece of crossover speculation that has followed Fortnite through several Halloween seasons. What the collaboration actually adds to the game, in items or characters or otherwise, was not set out alongside the confirmation itself.
