Final Fantasy 7 Revelation gets an easier Platinum
The director of the remake trilogy says more players should be able to finish Revelation's trophy list, and confirmed a classic summon is back.
Only a small share of Rebirth players ever finished its trophy list, and director Naoki Hamaguchi has now said the final part of the trilogy will be kinder about it. He expects a much larger slice of players to take the Platinum in Revelation, and stands by the Rebirth design as deliberate rather than accidental, since it pushed players through the whole of a very large game.
Separately, Hamaguchi confirmed that Gigas is returning in Revelation, a nod to the older Final Fantasy 7 roster of enemies and summons that the remake project has been working back through. Revelation closes out the trilogy and arrives after Rebirth's mid-generation engine work.
