Diablo 4 apology gifts follow a bumpy season launch
Blizzard handed out in-game compensation after the Season of Hell's Legacy launch slipped and servers struggled, but not to every player.
The release of Diablo IV's Season of Hell's Legacy did not go smoothly. The season itself was delayed by a few hours, the solo self-found mode slipped a bit further behind it, and players ran into generally wobbly servers during the opening stretch of the season.
Blizzard's response was a set of apology goodies handed to players inside the game rather than as a separate announcement. By the report, those items did not make it to everyone who played through the launch period, leaving part of the player base without the compensation that the rest received for the disrupted start.
