Crisis Core on Switch 2 jumps to 1440p and 60fps
The Switch 2 release of Crisis Core: FFVII Reunion runs far above the original Switch resolution and can hold a stable 60fps.
Crisis Core: FFVII Reunion on Switch 2 runs at 1440p in both of its display modes, a clear step up from 720p on the original Switch, and the character models and textures benefit from the extra resolution. Graphics mode holds 30fps, matching the older Switch release, while Performance mode lifts the cap to a stable 60fps. Better loading times come with it.
The game is a prequel to Final Fantasy VII, following Zack Fair as he rises to SOLDIER First Class alongside Sephiroth, Angeal and Genesis on the way to the Nibelheim incident. It is available on Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC, after starting life as a PSP exclusive.
