Xbox Game Pass Loses Nine Games This October

At least nine games are leaving Xbox Game Pass in October, led by 2025 release Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which departs on October 15. The rest of the list covers A Plague Tale Requiem, the Dead by Daylight spin-off The Casting of Frank Stone, Crime Scene Cleaner, Donut County, Evil West, Superball, Nova Roma in Game Preview and Pacific Drive. The removals were flagged as leaving soon on the official Xbox phone app before being confirmed. Several of the titles had been expected to exit, and four of the outlet's predictions landed correctly.
Subscribers who decide to buy any of the outgoing titles before they go can save 20 percent on the purchase. Last month's removals totalled 18 games and included large names such as The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Sifu and Frostpunk 2, showing how quickly the service reshapes its library. The current batch mixes a celebrated role-playing game with smaller titles, and the horror-themed entries arrive just as Halloween approaches, which makes their timing awkward for fans of the genre.
