Most Blood Bowl 3 Matches Were Played Solo, Programmer Says
Cyanide programmer Mathieu Valero says most play happened in solo Eternal Leagues, and the follow-up, Warhammer Blood Bowl, will finally ship with working AI.
Between 70 and 80 percent of Blood Bowl 3 matches played in Eternal Leagues were solo, Cyanide programmer Mathieu Valero told Wargamer. The figure undercuts the long-standing assumption that the game is played mainly online.
Valero was candid about the launch, describing it as a mess, and said the studio is addressing the weak artificial intelligence for the follow-up, Warhammer Blood Bowl, which Slitherine will publish by the end of the year. It arrives as a free upgrade for owners of Blood Bowl 3, alongside a revamped interface with competitions that can be pinned to the home page.
