Marvel Cosmic Invasion DLC Sets Up Doomsday Hype
The Siege of Castle Doom arrives on 10 November, adding Doctor Doom and the Invisible Woman ahead of the film's December debut.
Dotemu and Tribute Games used New York Comic Con to confirm The Siege of Castle Doom, the second DLC pack for Marvel Cosmic Invasion, arriving on 10 November. The expansion adds two playable characters, Doctor Doom and the Invisible Woman, alongside a brand-new game mode, following the teams' earlier tease of a Doom-focused update. It is the second content drop for the superhero beat-'em-up since launch, and it lands with a gameplay trailer showing both newcomers in action.
The timing is unlikely to be accidental. Doomsday, Marvel's next major film, lands in December, and the pack's November release plants the publisher's brawler squarely in front of that wave of attention. Marvel Cosmic Invasion launched to a warm reception as a couch co-op fighter, and its first DLC already broadened the roster. The Siege of Castle Doom gives lapsed players a fresh reason to return before the cinema crowds arrive. Dotemu has not confirmed the pack's price, though the first add-on was paid content separate from the base game at launch.
