Manor Lords publisher will ship into the GTA 6 week
Hooded Horse is taking Blacksmith Master out of early access on 19 November, the same day as Grand Theft Auto 6, and calls the clash a deliberate strategy.
Publishers have spent months moving release dates away from Grand Theft Auto 6, and Hooded Horse is doing the opposite. The Manor Lords publisher will push its medieval management sim Blacksmith Master into 1.0 on 19 November, the same day Rockstar's game arrives.
Asked whether the shared date worries the company, Hooded Horse treated it as a strategy rather than a scheduling accident. To most publishers that would be a recipe for disaster; the studio describes it as no big deal, and as a deliberate way to reach players shopping that week.
