Delayed PS5 horror Abandoned returns to the PlayStation Store
Blue Box's indefinitely delayed survival horror is listed again with a 2027 window, confirming the game was not a shared delusion.
Abandoned, the PS5 survival horror announced by Blue Box Game Studios in 2021, has quietly reappeared on the PlayStation Store after a run of being listed, removed and listed again. The page now carries a 2027 release window, and its description is as thin as it has always been, calling the project a horror survival shooter built around realism.
Blue Box postponed the game indefinitely in 2022 and has never delivered it. The listing does little beyond confirming it was not a shared delusion, and it revives the 2021 theory that Abandoned was a disguised Hideo Kojima project driven by Silent Hill hopes, an idea that a dedicated subreddit never let go of and that nothing has ever backed up.
