What Teyon is

Teyon is a video game developer based in Krakow, Poland. Its own development page describes the company as a developer and publisher of video games on all major platforms, working on AA+ titles for PC and consoles built with Unreal Engine. The same page states that Teyon was founded in Krakow in 2006 and has since expanded to locations in Lodz, Poland, and Tokyo, Japan, with more than 150 employees working across three development teams.

The company uses that page to set out who it works with. Teyon lists partners including Nacon, AMD, Tencent, Sony and Nintendo, and says its teams focus on first-person action games that combine gameplay with narrative-driven experiences built on established global properties. Teyon also reports 20 years of experience on the same page and presents its work both as its own intellectual property and as work for hire for other publishers.

How Teyon is structured

Teyon's contact page gives its main office as Teyon S.A., ul. Opolska 110, 7th floor, 31-323 Krakow, Poland. A second head office is listed for Teyon Japan G.K. at the Shiba Daimon Centre in Minato, Tokyo. The same page publishes separate email contacts for support, publishing, general inquiries, investors, press and business development, so the studio routes commercial questions through its own channels.

The investor relations page identifies the legal entity as Teyon S.A., registered in Poland with KRS number 0000442246 and tax identification number PL9452171029, and gives a registered address at ul. Kuznicy Kollatajowskiej 13, 31-234 Krakow. That page states that Teyon is not a publicly traded company yet and invites investors to contact the company about possible cooperation and its presence on capital markets.

RENNSPORT and Competition Company

On 6 February 2023 Teyon announced a partnership with Competition Company, described in that announcement as a young start-up based in Munich, Germany, to work on RENNSPORT. Teyon's post calls RENNSPORT a racing simulation for PC that combines driving physics developed and validated with experts from the automotive industry and custom Unreal Engine 5 graphics. The announcement also names Morris Hebecker as RENNSPORT's chief executive and describes the ESL R1 competition run with the ESL FACEIT Group.

Teyon's newsroom confirms the release schedule. A post dated 13 November 2025 states that RENNSPORT launches worldwide on that date with console pre-orders open, and a second post published the same day announces that RENNSPORT is live with full crossplay. The launch post lists the Epic Games Launcher, Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as the platforms for the release. In our database RENNSPORT is credited to Teyon and Competition Company as co-developers, with Competition Company as publisher.

Publishing and the Japanese branch

Teyon opened its Japanese subsidiary, Teyon Japan G.K., in 2011 according to the company's publishing page, which describes the branch as one of the few Japanese companies with Western management licensed by Nintendo of Japan and Sony Interactive Entertainment. The page says the Japanese team translates, proofreads and tests games for other developers and handles PR campaigns, certification and retail distribution for that market.

The same page states that Teyon Japan's most successful published title was one of the most downloaded games on Nintendo Switch in Japan in 2018, 2019 and 2020, and that the game also topped the PlayStation Store charts. Teyon says it currently focuses its publishing work on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 and 5, and that it selects each release to give the title the best exposure in the Japanese market.
