Xbox Free Play Days Offers Arc Raiders, STALKER 2 and More
This weekend's line-up runs October 8 to 11, with the extraction shooter free for every Xbox member.
Xbox has opened its October Free Play Days weekend, running from Thursday, October 8 through Sunday, October 11. The line-up is led by Arc Raiders, free to try for every Xbox member with no Game Pass subscription required, timed to mark the extraction shooter's first anniversary and its Frozen Trail update. The base game, the Deluxe Edition and the Deluxe Edition upgrade are all half price through October 15.
Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and Essential members also receive full weekend access to Screamer and Family Man, while S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, High On Life 2, Little Nightmares III and Rogue Waters arrive as timed trials open to all players. Each comes with a purchase discount, including 30% off S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and 75% off Rogue Waters. Progress, Gamerscore and achievements earned during the event carry over if a player later buys the title. Titles install from the Microsoft Store or through the Free Play Days collection on console. Xbox notes that discounts and availability vary by title and region, so the exact savings can differ between storefronts.
