Traffix XR: Cities of Tomorrow Hits Quest 3 This Month

Infinity Games' mixed-reality traffic puzzler arrives on Quest 3, Quest 3S and Quest Pro on October 15, letting players build roads by hand.

Infinity Games has confirmed that Traffix XR: Cities of Tomorrow will arrive on October 15 for Quest 3, Quest 3S and Quest Pro. The studio describes the project as a relaxed mixed-reality traffic puzzle in which players connect road tiles to landmarks, keep the traffic flowing, and watch a city grow procedurally around their network. It can be played in mixed reality or in full virtual reality, so the miniature motorway can be laid out over a real tabletop or built entirely inside a virtual space, depending on how the player wants to work.

In play, roads are planned, placed, erased and redirected to link landmarks across a range of environments, while homes, towers, bridges and subways emerge around the network. Traffic moves from place to place, and keeping it running smoothly is the core challenge. Natural hand motions are used for smaller tasks such as sweeping snow, clearing roads and blowing away sand. UploadVR was granted access to a pre-release build of the title and plans a full review once it releases on Quest 3 on October 15.
