Nolan North would return to Uncharted, with one caveat
Amid unconfirmed chatter about a new Uncharted, Nathan Drake's actor has said he would come back, if any revival lives up to the series.
Nathan Drake's actor Nolan North has said he would come back to Uncharted, but with a caveat. Speaking at an event held before fresh rumours of a new Uncharted game surfaced, he reportedly said he would leap at the chance to play the character again, calling it a role he would not turn down and one he still stays ready for in case the call ever came, adding that he keeps a little hope alive about it even after all these years away from the role.
He has stressed, though, that he has heard nothing about a new entry, and his condition is that any revival should match the series' standards rather than tarnish its reputation. Uncharted 5 is unconfirmed: chatter about a fifth mainline game comes only from unverified reports, and neither Naughty Dog nor Sony has announced such a project. Treat all of it as rumour for now, and not as confirmation that anything is actually in the works right now, however intriguing the prospect may sound to longtime fans.
