Deckbane brings Balatro-inspired deckbuilding to iOS
A solo-developed roguelike that mixes poker hands with party building is out now, with Android to follow.
Deckbane is out now on iOS, a roguelike deckbuilder from a single developer that wears its influences plainly: poker hands as the core combat mechanic, in the spirit of Balatro, with the party-building and card synergies of Wildfrost. The setting is a world consumed by gambling, which the game is aware enough to play for laughs.
An Android version is planned. Smaller roguelike deckbuilders have found a natural home on phones over the past two years, and solo-developed projects like this often arrive on iOS first because the submission process is quicker.
