Blizzard Survey Asks WoW Players About New Classes

Blizzard appears to be surveying players about possible new classes for World of Warcraft: Forever. According to player reports, the survey asks whether they would be interested in a range of options for the upcoming MMO. Among them are a Demon Hunter, a Witch, a Tinker and a Bard. Warden and Necromancer are also said to be on the list, along with something that sounds a lot like a vampire. Several of the suggested classes would be entirely new to the game rather than variations on existing ones that players already know.

The survey has not been confirmed by Blizzard, and no decisions have been announced, so it is not clear whether any of the options will make it into the game. Even so, the list has generated plenty of discussion among players, who have long asked for additional classes and fresh ways to play. World of Warcraft: Forever is the upcoming MMO the survey is tied to, and it remains the focus of much of the community's attention. Until the studio comments, the classes should be treated as possibilities under consideration rather than confirmed additions.
