Strange Scaffold, the studio behind I Am Your Beast and Clickolding, has announced Something is Wrong with the Library, a narrative organizing horror game heading to PC through Steam this fall. Publisher Frosty Pop joins the project, which already has a live store page and a teaser trailer.
Players shelve real books by the Dewey Decimal System inside the Alex Dieter Public Library and Center for Reflection, a small-town building whose billionaire founder hid murdered homeless people in its walls. Guided by former administrator Phillip Shed, they work one tense night to calm the haunting. A modular chaos system gives every run a different set of books to sort.
