Fire Emblem run clears the game without any Flame Lords
A player finished the Switch 2 strategy game in around 40 hours on Hard and Classic, skipping all four of its central Flame Lords.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave breaks with the template of the series. Players create their own character in an apocalyptic present and travel back in time to recruit the four Flame Lords, each with a separate route and storyline. A YouTuber going by LagSpike776 skipped that entirely and beat the game without recruiting a single one, despite warnings against it.
The run took around 40 hours on the Switch 2 title at Hard and Classic settings, which keep permadeath switched on, make battles noticeably harder and restrict rewinding turns. The roster instead leaned on Hong Hua, Troy and Eshmel. Around ten days after release, How Long To Beat still carries almost no completion data for the game.
