Demon's Souls is a ground-up remake of the 2009 PlayStation 3 game that started FromSoftware's punishing action-RPG formula. Rebuilt by Bluepoint Games for the PlayStation 5, it sends the player through the fog-shrouded kingdom of Boletaria, fighting through five regions and their bosses while souls earned in combat buy upgrades.
Diablo IV
Diablo IV returns to a dark Sanctuary with seasonal characters, loot that comes in tiers and an open world shared with other players. Progress resets each season, which is the point of the format.
